Keeping us and our students safe
At this time of year when we have lots of new people with expensive equipment, entering a city which they may be unfamiliar with; criminals can sadly see this as an opportunity to catch people off guard and take a laptop or a phone. Staff can be just as likely to be a victim of crime as our students, so please stay vigilant.
Keep your office door locked and remind students to keep their belongings with them at all times. A safety message has been circulated to our students and you can also signpost them to tips on staying safe, on My Manchester:

If you become aware of an incident to report involving a colleague or student from the School, please notify Tony McDonald our H&S and Environment Manager, in the first instance.
