Electronic Submission Systems
Below are some of the main submission systems, others will be in place for different funders. Your named contact in the Research Support Team will be able to advise.
JeS
If you are applying to any of the Research Councils (EPSRC, NERC, BBSRC, MRC, ESRC, AHRC or STFC) or the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) you will have to submit your application using the Joint e-Submission (JeS) system. To submit an application you must first be a registered JeS user. To create an account go to the JeS homepage and click on the create account button. You must accept the terms and conditions to become fully registered on JeS.
Royal Society
The electronic Grant Application and Processing (e-GAP) system is used to submit applications to the Royal Society. To create an account go to the e-GAP homepage.
Wellcome Trust
The eGrants system enables applicants to apply for Wellcome Trust grants online. To register an account go to the eGrants homepage.
EC (including European Research Council)
The ECAS Participant Portal is used to submit applications to the European Commission. Calls for proposals can also be found on the portal.
