Sabbatical Leave Applications

The School has only received one preliminary application for sabbatical leave to commence in academic year 10/11. Although the original deadline has passed, please could I encourage you to consider whether you would like to put in a preliminary case for leave in 10/11. Please note that academic staff are no longer required to take their period of leave abroad.

An initial indication of intention to submit should be sent to Ursula by Friday 6th March, with the full outline by 31st March. Outlines will need to contain the following brief information about the proposed sabbatical:

  • Location
  • Purpose
  • Period
  • Impact on teaching/admin duties
